A nonprofit organization that places nature conservation at the heart of its work, focusing first on its most vulnerable species: amphibians (frogs and toads).

We are working to protect biodiversity and the particularly rich and threatened natural habitats of the Congo Basin.

By turning conservation into a driver of development for local communities, and by demonstrating that harmony between human societies and nature is possible.

VISION

We dream of a reinvented Congo, where every vibration matters. A Congo where biodiversity is not just a resource, but the very breath of life for our 26 provinces and our 145 territories.

A Congo where people and ecosystems thrive together, and where the song of the frogs and toads resounds like a hymn to life, revealing the health of the forests, the waters, and the communities that depend on them.

MISSION

To help preserve and restore the Congo Basin’s invaluable biodiversity, starting with its ecological sentinels, the amphibians (Frogs and toads), in order to work with local communities to build a development model that demonstrates that the lives of all species are inextricably linked to the cycle of nature.

La mangrove, une source de vie.

À Moanda, des mangroves s’étendent sur une partie du littoral. Ce sont des forêts très denses de palétuviers, des arbres qui poussent dans la vase et qui cassent l’énergie des vagues, comme s’il y avait un mur. Elles sont très utiles pour protéger les habitants des tempêtes et limiter la montée des eaux.

CONEV s’organise pour la conservation de la mangrove de Moanda pour que les plus jeunes puissent savoir son importance. L’objectif : comprendre son rôle pour, cette fois, y faire plus attention !
